Sunrise and park opening line up, or very nearly so, this Saturday! Let’s take advantage of the early morning temperatures! There will be a basic introduction to mindfulness and basic stretching session before and while we watch the sunrise. Afterwards, we’ll head for the medium difficultly, approximately 1.5-mile Blackrock loop to practice some mindful, if not quite silent, hiking. Recommended items to bring to your morning mindfulness journey include water, closed toed shoes, hat and/or sunglasses, sunscreen, long sleeves (the desert is cooler overnight than you might think, especially if you live in town.)
