This hike will cover 3 miles and use sections of Pass Mountain and Cat Peaks Trail while traveling through beautiful Sonoran Desert landscape. The trail will be rocky sandy and uneven in many places, so it is encouraged that you bring proper footwear. The trail is also in direct sunlight and the temperatures will heat up fast so bring plenty of water, wear protective clothing, and pack some sunscreen that sun is hot. We will meet for the hike at the trailhead staging area and start the hike from the pass mountain trailhead. Bathrooms and water are available at the trailhead.
