The hike will cover 3 miles with an elevation gain of just 125 ft on sandy, level trail. Please wear hiking boots or sneakers. If you have difficulty with balance hiking poles are strongly encouraged. Every hiker needs a flashlight and if you have blacklights feel free to bring them to help the ranger search for scorpions. There is no water at the trailhead so please bring plenty with you or stop by the water fountain outside the Nature Center as you pass by. Bathrooms can be found on the right just before you arrive at the North Trail trailhead.
