Join Ranger Nikki on an easy 1-mile walk along areas near the Nature Center to search for common wildflowers and flowering shrubs of the Sonoran Desert, such as fiddleneck, filaree, brittlebush and globemallow. We will also be on the lookout for butterflies visiting these plants. Adults can learn how to use the iNaturalist app to record class observations on the iNaturalist app to contribute to citizen science projects with your students. Wear closed-toe shoes and a hat and bring plenty of water. Have your phone ready to take lots of pictures. Meet inside the Nature Center.
