Join Ranger Kevin for an approximately 3-mile, out-and-back hike on the Yavapai Point Trail. Trail is moderate, so expect some loose rock, uneven terrain and elevation change. We’ll enjoy the beauty of a quiet outdoor evening as we hike through a desert landscape silvered by the moon and stars (weather permitting, of course). From the top of Yavapai Point, we will be rewarded with perhaps the best view of the lake in the entire park. We'll also look skyward for planets and constellations. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water, along with a flashlight. Restrooms are available near the trailhead. NO pets, please.
