Join Ranger Derik for a guided hike to learn about the animals, plants, and ecology of the Sonoran Desert. We will hike 3 miles roundtrip on easy to moderate grade, with frequently rocky or uneven ground. Please dress in layers, wear protective clothing, wear sturdy footwear, and carry ample water, electrolytes, and snacks for yourself. Porta johns are available at the Grey fox Trailhead parking. For those of you participating in the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge, this is a great way to work towards your goal! The challenge runs from Nov.1-Feb. 8.
