We will hike the Wind Cave Trail with 800ft of elevation gain, and at a distance of 3 miles, it is rated as difficult. The trail is steep and rocky, so it is encouraged you bring proper footwear, and if balance is an issue, trekking poles are great to have. Please bring plenty of water and a snack for the top. Water and bathrooms are available at trailhead.
MEETING LOCATION: Wind cave parking lot, next to the bathrooms, by the kiosk. Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. This program is all ages. Registration for this program will close on 4/19/24.
