Hit the trails this New Year’s Day! Whether your New Year’s resolution is to exercise more, get out into nature, or complete the 100 Miles in 100 Days challenge, let’s get the year off to a great start! We’ll be taking on portions of the Ford Canyon, Waddell, and Mesquite trails for this roughly 4-mile hike. These trail segments are rated easy-moderate, which means you can expect some loose rock, uneven terrain and elevation change. Please bring plenty of water and wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear. Proper clothing (layers), sunscreen, and hat are strongly recommended. Restrooms are available at the trailhead. Please, NO pets. For those of you participating in the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge, this is a great way to work towards your goal! The challenge runs from Nov.1-Feb. 8.
