Discover the interesting Metate, Towhee, and Spur Cross trails and watch as they come alive under cover of darkness. We’ll listen for and attempt to identify night sounds, insects, plants, birds, and lizards. If we’re lucky enough to encounter them, we’ll add snakes, mammals, and whatever else volunteers! This is a roughly 2.1-mile hike of medium difficulty rating due to large rocks and elevation changes. Closed toe shoes and water bottles required. Flashlights recommended, blacklights encouraged. No pets please. Restrooms will be available at the trailhead but Spur Cross does not have water available in the park.
MEETING LOCATION: Spur Cross parking lot Limit 10 participants.
