Look for and learn about the nocturnal animals on this guided hike with Ranger Steve. Wildlife we may see includes scorpions, spiders, insects, owls, nightjars, reptiles, and mammals! We will hike 2-3 miles roundtrip on the Pemberton Trail. The hike will be easy, but occasionally there will be rocky or uneven terrain. Please bring your own flashlight or headlamp, carry your own ample water and electrolytes, and wear sturdy footwear. You might consider bringing a blacklight if you have one, but the ranger has one to point out scorpions with. The hike may be shortened if extreme heat is forecasted. Restrooms are located at the trailhead.
