We will hike 3 miles out and back on the rainbow valley trail starting from the Rainbow Valley Trailhead. The trail is rated as moderate and will have sandy, rocky, and uneven sections so please wear proper footwear and if you need them trekking poles are not a bad idea. Make sure to bring water and a flashlight with fresh batteries or extra batteries (cellphone lights don’t count) . Bathrooms and water are available at the trailhead.
