Events

The hike is rated as moderate and will combine sections of the Quail, Saddle, and Baseline trails for 4 miles. Expect the trails to be rocky, loose, and steep in many places. If you have mobility issues hiking poles and sturdy boots are strongly encouraged. Because it will be in the heat of the summer Participants will be strong encouraged to carry 2 liters of water with them. Water and bathrooms can be found at the nature center. Please no pets. MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center, back patio Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 6 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 8/6/24.Please note: Summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events.
