We love rain and all of the wonderful things it does for our regional park system, especially during wildflower season. However, sometimes, you can have too much of a good thing.
The weather forecast for the next seven days includes chances of rain ranging from 20 percent to 100 percent. At this time, we are asking those who recreate in the parks to tread lightly on the trails as they may become extremely muddy and susceptible to damage. If the trails become soft due to rain, the park may post updates closing/opening trails until they dry out.
In addition, please stay out of the washes while trekking. Conditions can quickly change during inclement weather.
