The Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area does not have a Nature Center. Please visit the Park Updates page for additional conservation area-specific information.
NOTICE: The Department of Forestry and Fire Management and Parks staff will be in the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area working on invasive species removal and fire fuel load reduction starting early March until mid-May. If needed, additional removal and/or reduction efforts may be added throughout the year. To learn more, see the park alert. Updated on 3/16/2022.

The north Valley location contains fascinating archaeology sites and lush riparian areas along Cave Creek, which flows throughout the winter months. Remnants of early mining and ranching, from which the park gets its name, are still apparent in the park. This area is a must see for all wildflower lovers in the spring. The abundant vegetation present in the conservation area provides a rich habitat for a diverse assemblage of wildlife.
