Reservation and Payment Policy

​Visits to the Center are by RESERVATION ONLY.
Reservations are taken by phone (602) 372-7470, extension 200.
The reservation fee is due within thirty (30) days of the time the reservation is made. This fee is non-transferable, non-refundable, and in addition to the visitation fee.
The Desert Outdoor Center reserves the right to cancel a reservation if a reservation fee is not received within thirty (30) days, and a reservation fee extension has not been established with the park supervisor.
To assist in helping set up your stay, the Desert Outdoor Center staff will contact the school or organization at least one month prior to your visit. If it is within one month of your visit and you have not been contacted, please contact the Center.
If at any time you need to change your reservation dates or times, you must contact the Desert Outdoor Center for approval. Changes in dates or times are subject to availability and require an additional reservation fee.
Payment or Purchase Order for your visit is due at the time of arrival. The visitor must make payment arrangements before the visit. Please check in at the office on arrival and departure. Payment can be made by cash, check, credit card, or school purchase order. Check payment from a purchase order must arrive in our office within thirty (30) days from the visit date.
The Desert Outdoor Center will charge the school or organization a fee for any damaged property or missing resources if it is determined to be a result visitor actions. The school or organization will be informed of the charge and it will show on the fee payment invoice. The park supervisor will handle any inquiries.
There is a fee to use the kitchen. The Desert Outdoor Center does not supply food and disposables. Additionally, at least one kitchen staff must have a food handler's card. Please call the Maricopa County Health Department at 602-506-6900, for information on obtaining a food handler's card. If you elected to not rent the kitchen, you will only have access to a grill and one refrigerator. If this is the case, please bring food in ice chest. Additional ice is available upon request at the office (no charge).
