NOTICE:
We appreciate the valuable feedback from residents concerned about the closing of the Joe Foss Shooting Complex at Buckeye Hills Regional Park. The complex will not be transferred to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for training purposes, as was previously considered. Maricopa County Parks and Recreation is conducting further analysis of the site’s condition and use. An environmental assessment will be completed by the end of August. The range is closed at this time. Further updates regarding the timeline for needed repairs and for reopening the range will be posted on this website at a later date.
