ESTRELLA - Stinknet Invasive Species Removal - Nov 18 - DEC 15

Crews will be treating for the Stinknet invasive species at Estrella Mountain Regional Park in areas around the one-mile playground area loop, entrance roadways, and Quail Trail. ESTRELLA - Tamarisk Invasive Species Removal - Dec 14, 2024 - Feb 15, 2025

Crews will be using heavy equipment (wood chippers, chainsaws, and herbicide application) in the area at Estrella Mountain Regional Park to remove tamarisk trees and shrubs using a bobcat and a tree masticator. The masticator will be used to grind and shred the vegetation into wood chips, which will be deposited on site.
