  • Estrella Mountain Regional Park Trail Grooming Volunteer Event

    Volunteer Trail grooming session Estrella Park Trails (Quail Trail, Saddle Trail). Volunteers to meet at the Estrella Nature Center Saturday June 8th at 6:15 AM. Volunteers will learn some “how to” tips and help groom trails. Work includes raking rocks off trails, some shoveling ruts or opening drainages and some tree and shrub pruning. It is expected to be just over 3 hours of work. Volunteers should bring plenty of water, gloves, hat, sun block, snack. Entry fee waived for workers. ... more details

    The Prickly Pedal Mountain Bike Race is back! After a three-year COVID hiatus, racers will hit the trails on January 20 at 8:30 am to take on the Maricopa Trail’s aggressive ups and downs along the 36-mile racecourse. The race begins in the Town of Cave Creek, known as a mountain biking community mecca.
