  • Estrella Mountain Regional Park Trail Grooming Volunteer Event

    Volunteer Trail grooming session Estrella Park Trails (Quail Trail, Saddle Trail). Volunteers to meet at the Estrella Nature Center Saturday June 8th at 6:15 AM. Volunteers will learn some “how to” tips and help groom trails. Work includes raking rocks off trails, some shoveling ruts or opening drainages and some tree and shrub pruning. It is expected to be just over 3 hours of work. Volunteers should bring plenty of water, gloves, hat, sun block, snack. Entry fee waived for workers. ... more details

    The Prickly Pedal Mountain Bike Race is back! After a three-year COVID hiatus, racers will hit the trails on January 20 at 8:30 am to take on the Maricopa Trail’s aggressive ups and downs along the 36-mile racecourse.     The Estrella Mountain Regional Park Competitive Track Parking Area will be closed October 16th to November 14th, due to NASCAR. The competitive track is still open and can be accessed via the main park entry at Casey Abbott and Vineyard Roads.
