Thank you for your continued support for the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department. This page is designed to provide core volunteers with the various resources you will need while working with Maricopa County Parks and Recreation.
Returning Hosts
As you get ready to return to for your volunteer service, please take a moment to review the following:
- Training: Our training curriculum is pushed out in July of each year for all staff and volunteers. If you want to begin the required training classes prior to your return, please feel free to do so. However, you must have all online training courses completed before you can begin your volunteer duties.
Computer Access
All core volunteers will utilize Volgistics to record their volunteer hours and update their contact information. Make sure to log in to ensure your user name and password is still active.
Can’t remember your passwords? Please use the reset feature. If you are still unable to log in, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator immediately. We want to ensure that you have immediate access.
Reporting time/entering hours worked:
Volgistics is the program used to track volunteer assignments and hours. All volunteers should familiarize themselves with the Entering Volunteer Hours document which contains instructions on how to enter your service hours.
Uniforms
Core Volunteers are provided a uniform each year for use during their volunteer shifts. Once you arrive at the park, staff will assist you in obtaining your uniform.
Volunteer Handbook
The volunteer handbook is a great reference for all core volunteers and can be accessed HERE at any time.
Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator with any questions regarding this information at parkvolunteer@maricopa.gov.
