Want to get a good work out and learn a lot? If the answer is yes, then this program is perfect for you. Join Ranger Evan for a splendid 3.0-mile hike through the desert on Wind Cave trail! On this difficult level hike, we will be discussing the unique ecology of the Sonoran Desert, adaptations that allow species to survive in the desert, and hopefully seeing some wildlife. Please meet at Wind Cave Trailhead, within Usery Regional Park. This is a more difficult hike, so please bring plenty of water and wear closed-toe shoes, no pets please. There is no fee for this program, just the standard park admission.
Registration required by calling the Usery Mountain Park Nature Center at 602-506-2930 x4 with your name, phone number and number attending. Registration deadline: January 10th
