Join Ranger Kevin for a 2.6-mile hike on the Cottonwood Trail. We’ll be pausing to look at wildflowers and butterflies as well as a variety of desert plants and animals along the way. The trail is rated easy, but with some moderately difficult stretches and a small amount of elevation change. Part of the hike may be through a wash with deep sand and loose rock. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Hats and sunscreen are also highly recommended. We’ll meet at the Cottonwood Trailhead. Enter the park at the North Entry station, and park at the Cottonwood Trailhead. Bathrooms are available at the trailhead. NO pets, please.

When reserving, please indicate that you’d like to register for the 1 p.m. Cottonwood hike, provide your name, phone number and total number of participants. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 3/18/23.
