Join Ranger Nikki on a 2-mile walk on easy terrain among saguaros and other cacti as the sun sets on the horizon and the full moon sits low on the eastern horizon. We will also be on the looking and listening for signs of nocturnal critters becoming active, such as nighthawks, poorwills, bats, owls, and scorpions. The route is an out-and-back walk on the Service Road. The terrain is mostly level but there are areas with uneven ground and small rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center. Please bring $7 exact cash for the self-pay station or your annual pass.
