Join Ranger Nikki for a moderate hike to learn cacti, legume trees and desert shrubs and observe a variety of birds, lizards and mammals. The route follows Pipeline Canyon Trail to Pipeline Cove and goes back the same way, using a portion of Yavapai Trail. The out-and-back trek is 3.5 miles total and the terrain is moderate, including some rocky and uneven surfaces. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, snacks and plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Trailhead.
