Ranger Nikki will lead you on a hike to talk about a variety of plants along the trail. Depending on how much late winter rainfall we received, we may see common wildflowers such as lupine, poppy, and scorpionweed and perennial plants such as globemallow, brittlebush and wishbone bush. The route follows a portion of Amigos Wash Trail, Blevins, Spillway, Channel, and NoSo Trails to make a 4-mile loop. The terrain is mostly level but there are areas that are uneven with small rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water. Restrooms and water are available at the Trailhead.
