Join Ranger Derik on fast paced fitness hike into the backcountry of the Estrella foothills and get sweeping views of the Estrella and White Tank Mountains. Click on program title for more details.
The hike will cover 5.6 miles / gain 340ft of elevation and rated as moderated to difficult. Fitness hikes are generally fast paced, but the group will take periodic rest/water breaks as needed. 3 liters of water and hiking boots are strongly encouraged for this hike as well as proper clothing, sunscreen and a hat. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
