Let’s see what sorts of wildlife we can spot on this hike! Animals might be out and about during this time, but if not, there is still plenty things to see! We will pass many native plants to the desert along with some great views of Lake Pleasant. The route will be on Wild Burro Trail, this will be an easy 2.5 to 3-mile hike. The terrain is mostly level but there are a few spots that are uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms are available at the trailhead.

Limit 15 participants. To register, email olivia.holderness@maricopa.gov with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email back the ranger ASAP so they may contact those on the waiting list.
