Get those tails on the trails on this family friendly & pet friendly approachable, yet beautiful first day hike led by ranger Jacque!
Dogs and their humans are welcome! Get ready for a fun adventure with your fur family on this park trek, where we’ll review trail “petiquette” and tips for those new to hiking with dogs, then get those tails on the trails! We will hike 3.3 miles starting on Blevins trail, around Cat Peaks, and looping back around via Meridian. Terrain is rocky with slight (165 foot) elevation gain. Dogs must be on 6’ leash; please bring doggie bags and enough water for you and your pet. Wear sturdy shoes and a hat.
MEETING LOCATION: Trailhead staging area by the restroom building
Registration required. To register, please call the Nature Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number, and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 12/30/24.
