Join Ranger Eric for a late afternoon hike along the Mesquite Canyon Trail to look for reptiles of the Sonoran Desert. Along the way, we will discuss identification tips, their ecological roles, and safety around venomous animals. We will hike about 2 miles roundtrip on moderate grade, but occasionally rocky or uneven ground. Please wear protective clothing and/or sunscreen, wear sturdy footwear, and carry ample water, electrolytes, and snacks for yourself. Restrooms are available at the trailhead.
