Join Ranger Eric to look for and learn about the resident and migratory birds of the Sonoran Desert on this easy and short hike to the Wildlife Pond and part of Mule Deer Trail. Along the way, we will discuss basic bird identification, ecology of the Sonoran Desert, and how birds are adapted to this arid environment. Please wear sturdy footwear, protective clothing and/or sunscreen, carry ample water and snacks, and binoculars or camera if you have them. Portapotties are located at the west end of Staging Area parking lot and flush toilets are at Area 4.
