Ranger Nikki will lead you on an evening walk to enjoy a peaceful evening in the desert as the full moon rises. We will also keep an eye and ear out for any creatures that may be stirring, such as owls, coyotes, rodents and more. This is an out-and-back walk approximately 2 miles total distance. We will head out on NoSo Trail and spend time on Levee to enjoy the moon glow and sites of the valley. The terrain is mostly level but there are some uneven portions with small to medium rocks underfoot. There is a short 10ft. upslope to gain access to the elevated Levee Trail. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring and flashlight and plenty of water. No pets, please. Restrooms and water are available at the Trailhead. Please bring $7 exact cash for the self-pay station or your annual pass to display on your vehicle.
