Up for a challenging morning hike? Looking to get out on the trail, but don’t want to hike alone? This is a roughly 4-mile hike on the Bajada and Goat Camp trails. Goat Camp trail is rated extremely difficult; please know your skill and fitness level. This one is not for beginners. Restrooms are available at the parking area; please pack 3 liters of water, snacks and electrolytes. You may also want to consider having some extra water in your vehicle for when you get back. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes; hats, sunscreen and layered clothing are strongly recommended. You may find hiking poles helpful. NO pets, please.
This is a great way for advanced hikers to knock some miles of the MC Parks’ 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge. Find more info about the program here: 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge | Maricopa County Parks & Recreation
