This moderate-rated hike with Ranger Nikki has an elevation gain of 300 feet and trail surfaces that are uneven and rocky. The total distance of this loop is approximately 1.5 miles. During this hike we will also be on the lookout for birds, lizards, insects, mammals and more. Wear closed-toe shoes, sun-protective clothing and a hat and bring snacks and plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center (opens at 7am) on the way to the trailhead.
