The desert seems full of scary, venomous creatures with sharp stingers or biters! Ranger Jacque’s here to talk about the real lives of rattlesnakes, Gila monsters, scorpions, and other desert dwellers you may encounter. Click program title for more details.
It can seem like everything in the desert is out to sting, bite, or poke you. Ranger Jacque will shed some light about which ones are really out to get you and which ones just need better agents. Drop on by for this unstructured, informal come-and-go style ranger table, where you can have a look at some of the venomous creatures behind glass, examine some artifacts, and learn that maybe the desert isn’t nearly as scary as you thought!
MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center
No registration required. Just stop by any time between 1:00pm and 3:00pm!
