See preserved specimens and photographs to help you identify common flutterers that can be seen at the end of summer into early fall along our desert trails and in your back yard. You can also learn about the Parks Department butterfly monitoring initiative and apps you can use to identify and document what you see along your journeys. (Downloading and creating accounts for the iNaturalist and eButteffly apps beforehand is helpful). Be sure to bring your water with you to this indoor information table. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center.
