Join Ranger Nikki on a 3-mile easy to moderate hike to enjoy the sights and sounds of the morning desert. We will watch for birds, mammals and reptiles and talk about their life cycles and adaptations. The route follows San Tan, Stargazer and Moonlight Trails and the park’s service road. The terrain varies from smooth and level to uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, snacks and plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center.
