New to the Desert? Want to learn more about the desert environment? Want to go for a splendid hike? If the answer is yes, then this hike is perfect for you! Bring plenty of water and wear closed-toe shoes. We will be hiking in total about 3.5 miles. Bathrooms are available near the parking lot. NO pets please. MEETING LOCATION: Trailhead Staging Area near the North Pemberton/Scenic Trailhead Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the McDowell Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 3 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
