We’ll head to the top of Yavapai Point. Along the way we’ll discuss the plants and animals we see and the unique habitat and ecosystem they’ve built for themselves here in the Sonoran Desert. At the top we can pause to take in a stunning view of the lake before heading back, lighter the water, but heavier the experience. Water bottle and closed toed shoes required. Hat and sunscreen recommended. Feel free to bring whatever hiking equipment makes you comfortable. Restrooms and water will be available at the trailhead. No pets please.
