Join Ranger Kevin for a hike and mine tour which features a fascinating glimpse into Arizona’s past. Click program title for more details.
We’ll be hiking roughly 1.8-miles round-trip to the Clay Mine, site of a fortune made not of gold, but of snake oil. Program features a tour of the mine itself. If you’ve never been to the mine at night, you’re in for an extra special treat! Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring water and a flashlight. Restrooms are available at the Nature Center. NO pets, please.
MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center
